Decribe your idea

Cores: the individual is a product of his past (putting into question "free will") and the individual's mindset exists at any time on a spectrum of emotional to rational (one implication of this: one's perception of reality is distorted by his emotional expectations of reality (which are, referring to the first core, defined by how he's perceived his past). Though simple, these cores have redefining impacts on society, on ideas that we've adapted as true, on how we see others, and on how we see ourselves. These ideas, understood en mass, could change our world, and move us forward in higher awareness. I'd love to write my entire idea, but that'd take an entire essay, so I've compacted as much as possible to just the fundamentals.

Why do you want to share your idea with TEDxUChicago in 2013?

As written above, I feel as if these ideas, when understood by a mass, could change how society views itself and, consequentially, progress our kind forward.

How will you share your idea in a creative way?

My lecture will include several interactions with the audience, some humor, and several analogies.
